TRADINGS SESSION TS

the TS is the core of the ATC-project. whenever two or more people meet in person and trade ATCs they perform a TS - the trade person to person is the main purpose of the concept of ATC.

TS can take place in restaurants, art galleries, street corners, hotel rooms or wherever you like to trade.

a more elaborated way to trade ATCs is the regular TS which takes place on a regular basis and which is usually organized by a core group of traders (examples are the zurich TS and the calgary TS - both started in 1997 and take place once a month - and there are several TSs held in different countries).

anybody who would like to start a regular TS is allowed to do so and we will support the organizers in any way we can (including information in the >ATC NewsLetter and/or on the >www.artist-trading-cards.ch/events.htm. we will help you to connect to other TS places and keep information circulating.

It doesn't take much to start a TS - just inform of people of the ATC format (size, open subject matter) and where and when you will hold your Session. flyers and posters help to inform people but experience shows that word of mouth propaganda helps best - and many people get really enthused only after having attended a TS: the event is the best place to learn and experience the idea of trading your own cards.
